Sally Jo Muellner, age 63 of Hugo, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 30, 2010, following her fight with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Lois Svendsen. She will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 44 years, Leon; children, Matt (Dar), Lee; grandchildren, Sarah, Nicholas, Aleah, Charlie; siblings Rose Jensen, Gene (Sandy), Peggy Willis; brothers-in-law, Dan (Mary) Muellner, Terry (Deb) Muellner, Roger Muellner; sister-in-law Mary Beth Muellner; cousin Mike (Barb) Miller; dear friend Carol Nordin. Sally truly enjoyed the many years she spent babysitting and designing hair out of their home in Hugo. She cherished the time spent with each child and client and became a lifelong friend to many.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 2, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 14383 Forest Blvd. North, Hugo. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; continuing one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
