Sally Jane Richter

Sally Jane Richter, age 68, of Navarino passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 30, 2025, at her home. Sally was born on October 14, 1957, in Shawano to the late Larry and Marcella "Marcie" (Doughty) Leitzke. She graduated from Bonduel High School in 1975. On November 12, 1982, she was united in marriage to David Richter in Navarino. Sally worked at Kmart, Premier Bank in Bonduel and recently worked at Kwik Trip until retiring. She enjoyed all her jobs and considered her customers as friends. Sally was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Navarino. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching Packer games and tending to her flowers and birds. Sally loved the countless weekends up at Casey's cabin on Lake Van Zile, where she found so much peace looking at the water and watching the deer. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; she will be deeply missed.

Sally is survived by her husband of 43 years, David; children, Denyel "Deni" (Ryan) Engel, Cale Richter and Cassie (Ryan "Buzz") Beyer; grandchildren, Bryce, Garrett (Karlee), Macelyn, Julian, Cora and Jett; siblings, Daniel (Debi) Leitzke, Dolly (Wayne) Schultz and Larry "Guy" (Connie) Leitzke; and brother-in-law, Merle Schultz. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sally is preceded in death by her son, Robert A. Richter; siblings, Angie Schultz and Matty Leitzke; and parents, Larry and Marcie Leitzke.

A funeral service for Sally will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday December 6, 2025, at Ascension Lutheran Church in Navarino with Pastor Mark and Marcia Sabin officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
