Sally Scalf Obituary
Sally departed this world, Friday, September 20, 2024. She was born June 11, 1938, in Illinois to Park and Madelyn Hickok.
Sally retired with Greentree Financial in 2002, where she worked as a financial officer in Jackson, Mississippi.
She had a love of horses from an early age. She helped raise and show them in multiple horse shows and county fair events where she won multiple awards. She loved to sew in her spare time making her and her children's clothes.
She is survived by two children, Jaye Scalf (spouse, Janice), Jerilyn Smith (spouse, Mike Smith), sister, Marilyn Fouts, nephew Rod Fouts, niece Sherry Poat, nephew Brad Fouts, grandson Zachary Smith (spouse, Katelyn), grandson, Dillion Johnson, granddaughter, Brittany Hager (spouse, Kaleb), and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 at Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Knoxville Cemetery at 11:00 am. On-line condolences and/or expressions of sympathy may be sent through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com
