Sally Rebecca Boggs Wagner, 71, of China Grove, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She was born March 4, 1954 in Salisbury, NC to the late Charles Spencer Boggs and Stella Miller Boggs. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked at Fiber Industries and then went in to healthcare. She worked as a nurse for 15 years before retiring. She was a longtime member of Franklin Baptist Church. She was an active member in the church and loved teaching children's church. In her spare time she enjoyed going to the beach, riding horses, going to horse shows and rodeos, reading, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Joan Burris; her sisters Debra Kay Boggs, Linda Jarrett Livengood; and step-father Bobby Gene Guffy.

Sally is survived by her husband Gary Loy Wagner; daughter Deborah Shannon Hickman (Jon); grandsons, Trevor O'Neal Burris, Trent Austin Hickman (Taylor), Terrell Isaac Witte, Travon Spencer Bush, Jonathan Crouse (Amber); great grandsons, Jackson Scott Hickman, Reed Loy Hickman, Brian Carter Allman; great grand daughters Chloe Rae Crouse, Malli-Jo Starr Crouse; sisters, Shirley Ann Boggs, Joan Charlene Fero (Harry), Patsy Jarrett Mitchell; brothers, Charles Christopher Boggs, Micheal DeWayne Boggs; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Franklin Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Joe Thomas officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Franklin Baptist Church.
