Saloma L. Byler

Saloma L. Byler, age 79, of New Lyme township, died on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at her home. She was born May 19,1946, in Chardon,OH, a daughter of Lester and Martha (Wengard) Yoder. Saloma was employed cleaning local homes for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and playing Solitaire. She is survived by her four children, Billy Byler of New Lyme, OH, Dannie J. (Cheryl) Byler of Jamestown, PA, Martha May Nipple of Ashtabula, OH, and Ernie D. (Dee) Byler of Andover, OH; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; her two sisters, Ada Druhot and Katie Miller, both of Middlefield, OH; and brother, Elmer Yoder of Middlefield,OH. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-four years, Dannie B. Byler, Sr. on June 5, 2022; her sister, Sara Bolyard; and brother, Gideon Yoder. No public services will be held.
