Salvatore J. Ciccio

Salvatore J. "Sal" Ciccio of Buzzards Bay passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of seventy-nine. He was the beloved husband of Teresa (Lazzaro) Hughes-Ciccio; the loving father of Richard Sears and his significant other Stephanie Fielding of Woburn, and Yvonne Hughes and her significant other Trevor Craig of Florida; he was the cherished grandfather of Skylee, Gabriel, Rory, and Luna. He was the brother of Robert Ciccio and his wife Barbara of Florida, and Joseph Ciccio and his wife Tina of Florida. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He also leaves behind his dog "Jackson" and his little buddy, Kyden Voss.
Sal was born on April 11, 1945, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to the late Joseph and Domenica (Bonanno) Ciccio. He graduated with an Associate's Degree from Berkley School of Music. He was a member of the Bridgewater State Stage Band for many years and was currently a member of the Cape Cod Moon Lighters Big Band and Cape Cod Sentimental Journey Big Band. He was an avid hunter. He spent many years hunting with his late cousin, Paul Ciccio, in Bucksport, Maine. He was an active member of the New Hope Chapel and was part of the men's group there. Sal adored his grandchildren and family and loved spending time with them.
A period of visitation will take place on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). A memorial service will begin at 6 pm at the funeral home.
