FINOCCHIARO, SALVATORE A. (SAM), 80, from Cape May Court House, formally of Wildwood. Husband of Dolly (nee Elmore), father of Sam Jr., preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Concetta (Lorenzo) and his brother, Frank (Dolores). He is survived by his sisters Isy DiBiase and Angie (Buddy) Salvato; brother, Tony (Jayne) and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Margaret Mace Hospital in North Wildwood on January 28, 1931 and deceased on Sunday, October 16, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer with his wife, son and family by his side. He was a lifelong resident of Wildwood, served in the armed forces during the Korean War, partner of Marine Italian Bakery, and worked his second career in the bakery at Bayside State Prison. Spending time with his family and friends were near and dear to him. He was passionate about refurbishing antique cars and entering car shows. Sam was a member in the American Automobile Association, Elks and Wildwood VFW for many years. He also loved boating and fishing. Sam will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by all of his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will be held on Thursday, October 20 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Cold Spring. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210 or to Hope Community Cancer Center, Hope Medical Commons, 210 S. Shore Road, Suite 106, Marmora, NJ 08223.
