Salvatore Sapia Obituary
Salvatore Sapia, 84 of Middletown beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Amara) Sapia passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 6, 2026, at Middlesex Hospital.
He was born in Naples, Italy son of the late Angelo and Anna (Papa) Sapia. He immigrated to the United States from Melli, Sicily in 1956. Salvatore came to this country and learned carpentry as a trade. He took pride in building projects and sharing his knowledge of the trade. He enjoyed working in his garden and spending time with his family.
He is survived by this son Angelo Sapia of Middletown; his daughter’s Anna (Rich) Bartoli of Wolcott, Sue (Miguel) Ortiz and Julie (Darrin) Bryant of Middletown; his 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is survived by one brother Frank Sapia; three sisters, Joanne Siena, Michela Ragosta and Maria Warmsley. He was predeceased by his sister, Josephine Lombardo.
