Sal's friend

Boy....I do miss you Sal.
It's funny that I live so close to your birthplace and resting place. Your love for your parents came across loud and clear with your daily ritual of talking to them with your numerous quirky endearing sounds. Just letting you know that I miss you and thank you for encouraging me to continue with my studies to become a doctor. You are an inspirational man....missing you dearly

So my TLM Bishop Sebastian in LA is asking me to pray for Sal, so let´s do it! There´s a reason something told me to look him up after 42 years.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis. Requiescat in pace.

My condolences to his family! Sal and I worked together on the school newspaper at Jesuit. I can certainly attest to his sense of humor.

I´m so deeply sorry to read of Sal´s passing. I´ve been his hair stylist for a few years and he always made my day brighter. He had such a way of telling jokes. Very subtle but hilarious. I´m relieved to hear he was home with family when the unfortunate happened. I will truly miss him

My sincere condolences to the Termini Family. Sal was one of a kind. A very special friend for many years. Sal was such a helpful, kind and caring man. Sal was my classmate in dental school and was always willing to offer help and support. I admired his intellect as well as his work ethic along with his devotion to Christ and the Blessed Mother. He will be missed. Glad I had the opportunity to talk and text with him before Christmas.Thoughts and Prayers with family.

So very sorry to hear of Sal's passing. Sal and I were classmates at Dallas Jesuit, but we never connected there. We were reacquainted on social media many years later, and Sal reached out to me in 2021 to ask for assistance in helping his mother find the best of care in Dallas. We exchanged communications during the ensuing years and through his posts, comments, and our occasional personal exchanges, I was able to form a fairly clear picture of Sal. Sal cared deeply about the things that matter the most: his God, his family, his heritage and traditions, learning, teaching, and caring for others. He was a brilliant, kind, accomplished servant leader and I am glad I was able to connect with him over the last 5 years. May God bless you Sal - you will be missed.

Hey, Sal. It feels like yesterday we were giving each other the business on the Guadalupe River rafting trip. I´m glad you were in my life, and I wish I´d known you better. May God be good to you, my friend.

I am shattered. Decades ago, Sal and I shared the transplant experience to Dallas Jesuit when our parents moved along with American Airlines. Sal was brilliant, witty, caring, and a gentleman. And I use the definition of gentleman derived from some classic movie, in which it is defined as someone who seeks to make others feel welcome and at ease. Although our professional lives sent us to the far ends of the country, we had renewed contact through social media more recently, for which I am eternally grateful. While Sal had grown as a man in all the ways that are good, our interactions retained the quirky and simultaneously enlightening verve of our shared youth. Please express my love and sympathy with the Termini family, friends, and community.

I have known Sal since he was a resident. He became a neighbor , friend, colleague! We both were employed by the dept.of surgery at Stroger(CCH) hospital. He was a decent, humble, conscientious human man. I will miss him so much!!!

This is Jack Ahern, Sal's neighbor, friend and Church buddy. Sal is still loved, but very much missed. A dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Sal and his loved ones. Let us all love another and not be afraid to show how much we appreciate our dear friends and family while we still have them. Sal cared far more than many knew about his neighbors and patients. The picture is from a meal I shared with Sal at Tufanos, a neighborhood Italian restaurant.

Sal was my neighbor on May Street in Chicago. My wife, Kathy, and I used to invite him many time to celebrate this and that. We enjoyed his company amd particularly his very unusual and funny wit. I also enjoyed the figs from his tree which he always wrapped up for rhe winter. We will miss his humor and presence.

I can't believe you're gone. I'm in shock. We were just messaging each other on FB last months. You were a kind caring person. I feel honored to have worked for you at OPDS. You will be missed.
