Sam David Peach, age 86, resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. A native of the Theta community, he was the son of the late Robert Oscar “Bully” Peach and Annie Ruth Dodson Peach. He was a retired Captain with the Metro Nashville Police Department. He loved motorcycles and was a member of the Gold Wing club. Sam also enjoyed walking his beloved dog, Boo. Survivors include his brothers, Dick (Cecilia) Peach, Mickey (Marilyn) Peach, Richard (Tracy) Peach; sisters, Janice Kelly, Darlene Corbitt; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jinnie Peach; son, David Brian Peach; and niece, Tanya Corbitt. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time. Funeral Services for Mr. Peach will be conducted on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home with Dick Peach officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery in the Theta community. Active pallbearers include Jeff Masters, J.B. West, George Lester, David Robinson, Bob Gleenon, and Jeff Peach.
