For the 20 odd years that I've know Sam; he was a 100 per cent first class man. Always focused on the best. Never would he consider taking the path of least resistance. I was very bless by his acquaintance.

My sympathy to Missy and family. I never met Sam. My father-in-law, Larry, was friends with him and made some furniture for them. He did electrical work and projects at the house. And I remember one project, making stands for elephant tusks for Sam, that turned out beautiful. Larry had a great admiration for him, and I felt I knew him because of all the stories Larry would tell me. We are so sorry for your loss.

Got to know Sam a bit 20+ years ago when our sons were playing baseball together in Schnecksville. Later he had me pinch hit for him a few times at fundraising golf events because, evidently, golf was about the only thing he didn't do outdoors. Remarkable guy. Condolences to Missy, Sam Jr., the entire Saxton family, and Sam's many friends. Sean Duffy, Neffs
