Sam was a cherished brother to the late Jude Scala and a devoted brother-in-law to Fiorella Auriemma, Bill Auriemma, Salvatore (Donna) DeSimone, and the late Mimma (the late Don) Ralls. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a constant companion to his beloved dog, Scooter, who rarely left his side. Sam was surrounded by a loving extended family and many dear friends. His steady presence, strong values, and dedication to those he loved will never be forgotten.
