She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Boynton; two brothers: Jeremy Johnson and Richard Boynton; and one sister, Paula Boynton.
Outside of her caregiving career, Sami had a vibrant personality that brought warmth and joy to those around her. Throughout her years, she was also an avid cat lover, often finding joy in taking care of and rescuing animals. Sami had a remarkable talent for planning events, always infusing them with her creative touch and attention to detail. Family was of utmost importance to Sami, with her role as a grandmother being one of her favorite titles. Her fierce spirit and feisty nature made her a beloved figure among friends and family, and her willingness to help anyone in need forged countless friendships. She approached life with an open heart and never met a stranger, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
