Samej Price

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Samej D. Price. He was a former student at Mississippi Valley University and an employee and chef of Tulane University. He is survived by his beloved daughter Sa'Mani D. Price, parents, Lauret and Tinjareginia Price; grandparents; Brenda Price, Pastor Rainey Daniels, eight brothers, including his cherished twin Semaj D Price, three sisters, along with a host of other family members and friends. Family and friends, Gloryland Baptist Church, Pilgram Rest #2, Christian Mission, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, January 10, 2026, for 12:00 p.m. at St. Peter Baptist Church, 1731 New Orleans Street. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Charles O. Martin Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Funeral Services entrusted to The Boyd Family Funeral Home.
