Out of all the persons in show business world, Sammy ment the most to me. A mensch of a human, a kind hearted, decent, hell of a man who was insanly gifted by God with a drive to achive and mulit talented like none other. The thought of him brings a smile to my face a warms my heart.

"THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER EVER" Opening doors for so many hopeful folks trying to get into the business. Sammy's talent was so undeniable he became a member of the popular "RATPACK" in the 60's which was unheard of for a black man, that's how good he was. THANKS FOR SHARING ONE'S TALENT WITH THE WORLD....RIP

He was a great person who had lots of personality. I remember my mom loved him and watched every show he was on. So I admired him also since my Mom did. Great entertainer he was missed greatly.
