Sammy Gray of Greenfield, Indiana, a beautiful white 11-year-old Lab Mix girl of Susan Gray, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 3:30 pm in Greenfield, Indiana. Sammy joined the Gray family in April of 2014 when she was just a few weeks old.

Susan described Sammy's personality as "happy, playful, and very loyal."

Susan relayed that Sammy's favorite treat was pepperoni.

Sammy definitely did not like bath time; in fact, according to Susan, "she hated bath time," but she loved being brushed out after she was bathed. Susan shared that Sammy's toy was her "wobble wag giggle ball." Sammy was such a character; Susan shared how she would "love to eat anything: napkins, paper towels, towels, Kleenexes, baby wipes, and envelopes."

Susan felt what Sammy valued the most in her life was "being with her family," whom she loved.

Sammy loved going on car rides. As long as she was right by Susan's side, she was ready to go.

Susan shared that what she loved the most about Sammy was, "She always seemed happy and had a smile on her face."

Susan's favorite memory of Sammy was, "She always wanted to be in the middle of all the grandkids while they were playing."

Sammy, who was also lovingly nicknamed "Sammy Noodles Gray," loved her entire family but was close to her human mama, Susan, and her human sister, Rachel.

Sammy was such a cherished part of the family. So many happy memories were made with their sweet girl for over 11 years. They are grieving her immensely. Sammy will be forever missed, but she will be lovingly remembered and always remain in their hearts. In addition to Susan and Rachel, mourning the loss of Sammy are many family members, including ten human nieces and nephews and fur siblings. Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Sammy Gray.
