She was preceded in death by her father; Forrest "Dink" Miller, mother; Edna Rorex Miller of Carlisle, AR, sister; Teresa Bolick of Charlotte, NC, brother; Forrest Bernie Miller MD.
Sammye is survived by husband; Mike Wilson of Jacksonville, sister; Jessica Thompson of Ashville, NC son; David Frazier and wife, Kimberly of Tampa, FL, daughter Tiffany Warmouth of Jacksonville, stepson; Kenneth Wilson and wife, Phoebe, stepson; Matthew Wilson of Charleston SC, stepdaughter; Liza Wilson of Austin, TX, and stepdaughter; Corrie Wilson of Charleston, SC, 6 grandchildren; Matthew, Andrew, Jack, Emily, Caroline and Joe, 2 great-grandchildren; Layna and Jessa.
Sammye was a retired employee of the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, Arkansas Insurance Department, and National Council of Compensation Insurance, Inc. of Boca Raton, FL.
A private family graveside urn interment will take place at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sammye's honor can be sent to St. Stephen's Episcopal in Jacksonville and/or The Nature Conservancy.
