Dear Kike, Tope, Mrs. Abegunde, and family, I'm so very sorry to learn of your father/husband's passing. I met him 10 years ago in Philadelphia when I came to visit Kike, as my daughter Kerry was good friends with her in college (they met at the Univ. of Pittsburgh). He was a kind and loving and spiritual man, and I am so saddened to learn of his early departure from this life. Sincerely, Kathy Stuparitz

My father my father my mentor passes on but lives on in my mind. Rev Abegunde is an institution, a legend,an icon,an embodiment of integrity, he is integrity himself, a man from God since early teenage life, never once had a scandal reason why I cried when he slept, I used to boast of a living scandal - free man of God who happened to be my Father now that he is no more, who steps in to his shoes? This question will linger very long I guess REST ON DADDY AFTER A SPIRITED COMMITMENT IN THE SERVICE OF THE LORD TILL DEATH LOVE YOU DADDY, I WILL FOREVER MISS YOU!!!
