Samuel Alain Robert Dauby

My name is Yogi. Me and Sam met through him joining an informal UVA Kickboxing group which I "lead". I used to see him around the School of Medicine every once in a while and we used to get into chats.

I CAN ABSOLUTELY 100% AFFIRM the description of his attitude and character. A relaxed, enjoyable person to talk to who I enjoyed Kickboxing with a few times.

It was always nice to have a chat with him in the hallways of the medical school.

I was acquainted with Samuel through his work with the Saint Luke Society at Saint Thomas Aquinas in Charlottesville. He was truly involved and really cared about the Faith and his classmates. Please be assured of my ongoing prayers for Samuel, as well as the family and friends and his classmates.

Sam was part of the gang when my daughter, Meg, had friends over to our house. He was polite, witty, sweet, and ornery all at the same time. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Our deepest sympathies to Pierre, Pam, Andrew, Adam, Sophie, and Caitlin.
