I spent many hours in Judge Barrick's courtroom during the late 1970's and early 1980's when I was employed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Judge Barrick always had control of his courtroom with a no nonsense approach. I also drove him home during a snowstorm once because my car had chains and he lived on the same road. Also, my Dad graduated from FHS with the Judge in 1941. I like to express sincere condolences to the Barrick family.

I became acquainted with Judge Barrick when I worked at the nursing home where his mother resided. He was a wonderful gentleman, always taking time to talk with the nurses and nursing assistants and making sure we had much-appreciated snacks (ice cream!). Truly, our loss is Heaven's gain.
