Samuel R. Bebelheimer, 81, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, March 5, at his home in Pottsville.
Born Dec. 31, 1939, in Port Carbon, he was a son of the late John and Marion (Wessner) Bebelheimer.
He was the widower of Barbara (Ruppert) Bebelheimer, who passed away in 2005.
In addition to his parents and wife, Samuel was preceded in death by his brother, John Bebelheimer, and sister, Shirley Mokritsky.
Samuel was previously employed as an auto body technician.
As a veteran of the Navy, he was a member of AMVETS Post 180, Pottsville.
Samuel is survived by six daughters, Deirdre, wife of Mark Garrity, of Lake Wynonah, Tammy Gibson, of Saint Clair, Christine Hunter, of Port Carbon, Tina Campion, of Saint Clair, Judy, wife of Brett Beaulieu, of Pottsville, and Kelly, wife of Bryan Daniels, of Pottsville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline McDonald, Port Carbon; brother, Edward Bebelheimer, Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, March 8, at The Buck Fever, Pottsville. Interment at Odd Fellows, Saint Clair, will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Samuel's memory may be sent to Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, P.O. Box 332, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. To extend online condolences, visit www.gsesfuneralhomes.com.
