Samuel J. "Sammy" Donaldson

Samuel Joseph Donaldson, lovingly known as "Sammy," passed away on March 24, 2026, surrounded by the unwavering love of his family. He was just 10 years old.

Born on February 27, 2016, Sammy brought endless joy, laughter, and light into the lives of all who knew him. He was the beloved son of Elizabeth A. Martinez and Scott C. Donaldson, and a proud and loving little brother to Joseph A. Sepulveda and Leslie Higgins.

A fourth-grade student at Oakland Beach Elementary School, Sammy had a deep fascination with dinosaurs and a special love for animals. One of his favorite places in the world was Roger Williams Park Zoo, where he cherished time spent exploring with his family. Above all, Sammy will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit. He always wanted those around him to be happy, often sharing or even giving away his own toys just to bring a smile to someone else's face.

In addition to his parents and siblings, Sammy is survived by his loving aunts and uncles, Melissa and Jamason Pratt, Helen and Daniel McKay, Christopher and Becca Adams, and Salvador Sepulveda, along with many dear relatives and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Those who knew Sammy know that pink was not only his favorite color, but it was also, in his eyes, the very best color. In honor of his bright and joyful spirit, his family kindly invites all who attend his services to wear something pink.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, April 2, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 6:00 PM. Burial will be private.
