I was the fitness instructor at the Plaza apartments. I’m so honored, inspired, and grateful to have known such a special human being. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. He will always be an example of genuine righteousness.

My condolences to the entire Firestone family and I am sure his memory will always be a blessing.

I was fortunate to have met Sam through work over 40 years ago.Sam was a willing teacher and his wealth of knowledge was very helpful to me starting out my career. I am thankful for his guidance.Sam's energy and positivity, however, are what stand out the most for me.Sam's attitude was contagious and you couldn't help but be uplifted by spending time with him. It was a privilege to have called Sam my friend. He was truly one of a kind.My sympathies to his entire family.

Sam was a good man. Yes, he had his faults, as we all do. Sam's faults did not stop him from being a great people person. He had a wide circle of friends and lived a wonderful, full life. Toward the end of his life, he was an absolute medical miracle. He struggled with a cruel deterioration of his physical abilities, exacerbated by a mind as sharp as ever. I can’t imagine such torture. So it can be perplexing to contemplate how he survived the last few years. It is because of his love for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Death is often a blessing and Sam prayed for this blessing. Sam, You are not just my father-in-law, you are my Dad. And Dad, you are finally at peace. I hope you know that your place in my heart is next to my mother and father. I wish I had told you. I will always miss you. Rest in peace.

Sam was a co-worker at Netzsch Incorporated. He became a very close friend to Neil and I. He was responsible in introducing Neil and I. He was also our best man in our wedding. We loved him very much! Sam was a very thoughtful and giving person. He was truly a great man! We send our deepest sympathy, love, and prayers to his daughters and whole family.
