A great guy! Curt worked a number of projects with me over the years and I still have them all. They mean more to me now; lasting memories of a friend and a true craftsman. God bless you Lark.

Curt got me started in Black Powder. I enjoyed and learned so much at each visit. He had a great following and he always took time to help. I wish I could have spent more time with Curt and I will miss him.

I knew Curt for a few years, we became friends very quickly as I´m sure many folks did. We shared the love of single shot rifles and the type of work we did on them. I had the honor of doing some color case hardening for Curt, and he relined an original Remington Creedmoor rifle in exchange. I enjoyed our conversations and work we shared.
I will truly miss him, but, I know he is with God in heaven.
Curt, my prayers to your family now as they heal. God be with you all.
Your friend,
Tom Klinger

Curt and I were friends for years. I first contacted him to build a Remington Rollingblock rifle. From the first conversation with him I was aware of his genuine nature and character. Over the years he and I talked and became close. We shared stories of life, shooting and family. He and I shared our cancer survivor stories and life lessons. I will miss my conversations, laughs and friendship that we shared. His bravery and his love for his family always was apparent and was the basis of my true respect for him. He will live in my heart until I am no more. My thoughts to Lark and the family. I am a better person from knowing him.
