I don't get back home as much as I would like, but I will be home for deer season. I am sad because I will not have the opportunity to catch up with Sam and Junior Yorks. I love hunting, but I loved talking to Sam more. He always had something new to tell me about the mountain and it's origins. He also shared picking strawberries in the big field for my grandfather. He is missed by many, I am no exception, however, Sam was an exception. I am sure the family waiting in heaven was happy to welcome him. I hope he and Jr. have found mountains to hunt on. God bless you Sam, I miss you!

I always enjoyed running into Sam during hunting season. He always had a memory to share. One of my favorites was as a youth a picked strawberries for my Pappy Dunn. Another was sharing memories about the mountain and the Varner family. On behalf of the Dunn Family we send our deepest sympathy.

Sam was a very good friend of mine. I have many great memories of time talking with him and going places as well. He was truly a excellent friend.
