Samuel Lee Hill Jr.

Samuel Lee Hill, Jr., 38, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. Sam Jr was born on September 6, 1986,in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the baby boy, the sixth of nine children, as was born to Sammy L. Hill and April M. Hill. He attended Washington High School in Kansas City, KS, and worked within the Food Service industry for many years. Sam Jr. enjoyed playing video games, reading comics, watching and dissecting superhero movies, collecting as many Transformers figures as possible, and spending time with his family and friends.

Sam Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Hill, his grandparents Birda(Molly) Newton & Glasco Hill, Betty & Monroe Anthony, as well as his beloved nephew, Drew Price. Sam Jr. is survived by his devoted mother, April Hill, and his siblings, Wardell Lyday, Mary McClendon, Samantha Hickman, Shanale Hill, Steven (Tamarra) Anthony, Michelle Hill, Terra Hill,and Birda Hill. Many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends mourn his sudden loss. His spirit will continue to light the lives of those who knew him, as they hold onto cherished memories and the love and kindness he shared.

His loved ones are welcome to attend the memorial services held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church at 6401 E. 38th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64129. Repass will follow the service at the church.
