Samuel W Holland Jr, 82, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2025. Sam was born in Wildwood, NJ and was a lifetime local resident. He was known for his love of cars and drag racing in his early years. Sam worked for more than four decades operating his business, Sam's Automatic Transmissions, where he enjoyed being a part of the community. Sam took pleasure in devoting time to talking with customers, making friends and meeting people until closing in 2023. Sam was a beloved father to Samuel W Holland lll (Katherine) of Galloway Township, NJ and Suzanne Mobley (Dennis) of Madison, Missouri; and grandfather to four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by Amelia Parlapiano, his loving companion of many years, and her extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Holland.
