Deacon Samuel C. Lett MD

"God is too wise to error and too just to make a mistake". Sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Sam Lett. I was in nursing school when I met Dr. Lett. He was a Resident at The Menorah Medical Center and I worked with him in the Labor and Delivery department. He was truly knowledgeable and fun. Years later a worked in Medical Sales for Baxter Healthcare and while working at a Hospital in Selma, I heard tbe operator page Dr. Sam Lett to OB. I thought OMG could that be the same Dr. Lett I met in Kansas City Missouri? I called the Labor /Delivery department and inquired about him and asked if Dr. Lett could meet me in the hospital's lobby. After a few minutes of waiting, Dr. Lett appeared and we hugged.
We had a great time full of memories.
I am so proud that he acheived greatness in Selma. To the family, let not your hearts be troubled. Dr. Samuel Lett is now Safe and Sleeping in Jesus....FOR HIS SERVICE HAS TRULY OUTLASTED HIS SEAT. Gone but "NEVER FORGOTTEN"
