Samuel Roland Mitchum

Samuel "Bubba" Mitchum, 45, of Huger, South Carolina, died in North Carolina on Thursday, May 29, 2014. The relatives and friends of Bubba Mitchum are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Sunday, June 1, 2014 in Hopewell Baptist Church, Steed Creek Road off Highway 41, Huger, SC at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. "Bubba" was born on January 19, 1969 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Joyce Marie Crosby Mitchum and the late James Mitchum. He worked as an underground cable lineman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Mitchum of Huger, SC; a sister, Cheryl Davis and her husband, Neil, of Huger, SC; two nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Mitchum.
