Samuel L. Richardson

Samuel Lynn Richardson, age 79, of Fouke, AR, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his residence.

Samuel was born on December 29, 1946, in Frankville, Alabama to his parents, Henry and Daisy Belle Richardson. He spent many years as a dedicated millwright before retiring. After retirement, his greatest joy came from spending time with the people he loved most, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Whether he was hunting, fishing, or loading up the grandkids for rides on his side-by-side, he believed the best days were spent outdoors and together. He was a Christian by faith and a member of Pisgah Baptist Church and proud United States Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, O'Neal Richardson.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Peavy Richardson; two daughters, Erica Teer Baird and husband, Chris, and Lee Ann Teer Doss and husband, Andy; his grandchildren, Austin Brookings and wife, Lindsey, Alex Rowton and wife, Ramsi, and Shawn Cartwright; his great-grandchildren, Raid Rowton, Kaeson Cartwright, Tripp Brookings, Remi Rowton, and Kash Cartwright; sister, Ann Elmore and husband, Jimmy; sister-in-law, Maureen Richardson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Pisgah Baptist Church with Bro. Eric Thomas and Bro. Neil Floyd officiating.

A time of visitation will be held the evening prior, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the chapel of Texarkana Funeral Home – Arkansas.

Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
