I know this is a little late. It's November 30. A friend of mine thought that He had heard that Sam had passed. I graduated his class December 23 1983. I talked to him over the phone a couple of times over the years, but never stopped by to see him. I wish I had because he was a huge influence on my life and my career. He was the reason I pursued a career in the electrical field. Such a fine man. My condolences to his family. Thank you Sam!!!

I too worked with Sam at the vocational school for many years. He was always kind, respectful, sincere and honest. I was an honor to work with him.

I am just reading this obituary at 9:30 am in Paducah. There is no way I can be there to honor Sam and I regret that. He deserves all the bells and whistles that Glenn Funeral Home can provide. I remember him doing handstands well into his 70s. He loved his family and especially those grandchildren I know you miss him but from the time the illness took over prayers for your families

Sam was a very outgoing person and wonderful man. I worked at the Vocational School for several years and Sam always spoke whenever we saw each other. He was funny and was always friendly. He will be missed. Blessings to all family members.

Family, I was a evening student in one of Mr. Robertson's first classes at the vocational school and had much appreciation and respect for his electronic knowledge and military experience. Wanted each of you to know how my time with him had such an impact on my future career and life. World War II veterans are special.

You're in my thoughts and I am praying for comfort and peace for the whole family. I will be with you in my thoughts Monday.
