As a volunteer nurse at Chesapeake Care Clinic I worked many hours with Dr Shapiro. He was a great mentor for our staff and he was always kind and thoughtful as he provided care for our patients. He was so missed when he decided it was time to retire from our clinic. Our condolences to your family. I know you will so miss this wonderful man.

I am a volunteer nurse at Chesapeake Care Clinic. I worked along side Dr Shapiro many hours and many years. He was such a mentor for all staff members and so kind and thoughtful to our patients. He was missed greatly when he decided it was time to retire again... this time from our Clinic. Our deepest sympathies to the family of a wonderful man and a great doctor.

So sorry, Steve ,for your loss.I remember your father working in the deli on Colley Ave during the 1950´s. He was a serious, hard working young man. I always admired him.
