With a broken heart we regret the passing of our father.
Samuel Isaac Skidmore.

Dad had a big heart and made an indelible mark on the lives of all those who were close to him. He was compassionate, his heart had room for everyone. His adventurous soul had a contagious, cheerful spirit that lit up any room he entered. His kind spirit made people feel loved, accepted and welcome.
To those fortunate enough to have known him, the impact he had on their lives and fond memories they shared will be cherished forever. Sam enjoyed being active, he enjoyed his black powder guns, hunting, fishing, Nascar, golf, and riding his motorcycle. Often he would catch a flight to visit friends & family. Even if just for the weekend. He loved everything life had to offer.
He has also endured the pain of loosing people dear to him. His mother, father, brothers, sisters, his son Joel and his beloved wife Annie.
The sadness and hurt felt by family and friends is immeasurable. He touched so many lives. He will forever remain in our hearts, and always be remembered with so much love. He will be greatly missed.
