Samuel Dan Sorenson, born February 18th, 1977, passed away on May 31st, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
Anyone who knows Sam knows he was a stubborn man who wouldn't give up easily. He fought a hard battle against cancer right to the very end.
Sam married the love of his life in July of 1996. Together they had 3 children. Sam was a truck driver until his diagnosis. Between loads, he loved the outdoors in every way. He enjoyed camping, especially sitting around the campfire with a cold beer, fishing, and hunting, anything he could do with his lovely bride and family. He was a strong giving man who is already missed terribly.
Sam is survived by his wife Terri, his children Samuel, Daniel, and Miranda (Zach) Flum,his two granddaughters Eleanor and Annabelle, and his two grandsons Jack and Samuel John, his brother James Karlen, his parents Robert and Susan (Sorenson) Karlen, his father-in-law Terry Davis, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his mother-in-law Shirley Davis and his grandparents Eileen and Kenny Carrell, and Chad Perkins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 9th, 2023 at the Cadott United Methodist Church with Rev. George Olinske officiating.
Private family Interment will be held.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service Friday at the Church.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS-Memorials are preferred by the family.
