Samuel Max Tedford 1946-2024
Sam Tedford lived a long and beautiful life starting in Oklahoma, and finishing his journey in Thorndale, Texas. Sam was a strong and passionate worker; he established and ran his own HVAC company called "Tedford's Heating & Air" which he ran for almost 50 years. If you knew Sam through his line of work, you knew you were more like family then a client, he would always go above & beyond for you, and make sure the job was done right.
Sam met and married his wife, Evelyn, in July of 1965, and were married 59 years. Evelyn and Sam made a great team, while he ran the business, and provided, she made sure their lives at home with the children ran smoothly.
Sam's legacy & memory will continue to live on through his wife, Evelyn Tedford, their two children Tammy, and Troy, and also, his grandchildren & great grandchildren, but Sam will be greeted in Heaven, by his late daughter Cathy, and his mother.
Sam had become very sick this past year, with several complications due to his declining health, and then finally with pneumonia being the cause of his passing. Even though this is a difficult and trying time, please know, Sam was ready to gain his wings and go to his forever home.
So please to take comfort in that, and every time you taste a sip of fresh crisp Coca Cola, eat a Hershey kiss, or scratch off a lotto ticket think of him & smile.
