Samuel Treesh Obituary
Samuel was born on July 27, 1935, in Lagrange County, IN as the son of Donald Sr. and Irene (Meyer) Treesh.
Samuel married Betty Kent, May 30, 1975. They shared 51 years together before her passing on January 21, 2026. Samuel proudly served his country by enlisting in the Army. Samuel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. His presence was a gift to those who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt.
He is survived by his children, Leesa (Kevin) Sturgis, Joe (Karen) Treesh, Pam (Mike) Hunsberger, Diana (Danny) Davis; grandchildren, Taylor (Zac) Paxson, Samantha (Jack) Han, Heather (Theodore) Stevens, Holly (Dan) Rhodes, and Jim (Vanessa) Ogle Jr., and; great-grandchildren, Amelia, August, Oliver, Ezra Stevens, Brooke and Ben Rhodes, Wyatt Paxson and baby Han on the way, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Treesh, parents, his daughter Michelle Treesh, his son, James Ogle, brother, Donald Treesh Jr. and his sister, Betty Faux.
As we say goodbye, we celebrate the enduring impact of his love, laughter, and strength.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
