Samuel Holmes Vasbinder

Doc Vasbinder was my Humanities teacher in 1985 at McKinley. He was one of my favorite all time teachers. He was so passionate about the arts. I learned to appreciate the arts because of him. I visited the Louvre last summer, and saw in person many of the paintings we learned about. My thoughts went right back to Doc Vasbinder. May he rest in peace.

Dr. Vasbinder was my Humanities teacher and one of my favorite teachers at Canton City Schools. I learned a lot from him and remember him as a gentle and deeply reflective person.
