Sandra Alkire Sandra Alkire, 61, of Little Hocking, OH passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. She was born May 30, 1948 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of Bruce and Ivol Whited Boyer. She was a homemaker, a member of Unit #15 American Legion Auxilary, a lifetime member of the VFW #1212 Ladies Auxilary and a 1966 graduate of Rome-Canaan High School. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Carl Alkire of Little Hocking, OH; a son, Ken (Rachel) Alkire of Little Hocking, OH; a daughter, Dea (Craig) Boyles of Parkersburg, WV; sisters, Barbara (Bill) Sams of Columbus, OH, Margaret (Dave) Everson of Belpre, OH and Karen Frost of Coolville, OH; 6 grandchildren, Kaylynn Alkire of Miami, FL, Kurtis Alkire of Sarasota, FL, Jakob Alkire of Little Hocking, OH, Carlee Boyles of Parkersburg, WV, Adrienne Lang of Little Hocking, OH and Lena Lang of Little Hocking, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant brother. Services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, March 8, 2010 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. James Lambert officiating.
