Mary Sandra Webb Bair, 86, finished her journey here on earth on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Her family was close by, visiting daily. She passed due to complications from a fall. Sandra was born on March 19, 1937 in Logan UT. She was the first daughter born to Grant Laurence Webb and Erma Bingham Webb.
Sandra graduated from North Cache High School in 1956. She married Kenneth Humphry Bair on August 1, 1956 in the Logan LDS Temple. They had one daughter (Brenda) and two sons (Richard Kenneth, and Russell Grant). Sandra lived in Smithfield growing up, then once she was married ,she lived in Preston, then the rest of her life was in Richmond. She worked as a Reading Aide for many years at North Cache Jr. High School and later became the Park Elementary School Secretary until she retired. She loved working at the Elementary school and seeing all the happy faces of the kids coming to school and telling their stories on a daily basis.
She was an active member of the LDS church. Sandra was an excellent cook, and loved to Crochet and enjoyed working on a newly set up quilts. She was a member of a group of ladies in Richmond that met once a week to quilt which she really enjoyed, until covid hit and she quit never to go back. Sandra liked to play softball in her younger years, singing in the Richmond Ladies chorus. She also enjoyed a good coke, and a run to Jed’s Burger Bar with her lifelong friend(s) Helen Kidd and LuDean Christensen even made it better. She is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed supporting them in their various activities. Family meant everything to her.
She is survived by her son Russell Grant (Kalee), of Richmond, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her siblings, Sharlene (Clyde) Chatterton, of Logan UT; Ann Friedli, of Logan UT; Karla Shaw, of Anchorage AK; Margaret (Dean) Downs, of Logan UT; Jeffry (Janet) Webb, of Logan UT; Melanie (Nile) Leatham, of Providence UT; Robert (Diann) Webb, Boise ID; She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse Kenneth Humphry Bair, and a daughter Brenda Bair and Son Richard Kenneth Bair.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Richmond Stake Center, 135 West Main in Richmond with Bishop David Koch conducting. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:00-11:30 a.m at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
