On June 29th, 2023, Sandra Yvonne Barker passed away. Born on April 4th, 1944 to the late Ethel and late George Liggett, she was the loving wife of Amos LaDuc Barker; devoted mother of Stephen LaDuc Barker and wife Charlene, Dani Lynne Poteet-Schooley and husband Richard; cherished grandmother of Stephen Barker, Katelynne Gracie and husband Zachery, Shane Poteet, Jr. and wife Lauren, Brandon Barker, Angelina Poteet and fiance Andrew; loving great grandmother of Peyton O'Neil, Pyper Gracie, Payslee Gracie, Aaron Jeffries, Parker Gracie, Blakely Poteet; dear sister of Richard Liggett and wife Michele, the late Robert Liggett and surviving wife Ann, and the late Barbara Benny. Sandy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
