Sandra Kathleen Bateman

Sandra “Sandi” Kathleen Bateman, 60, of Wichita passed away on July 12, 2025. Sandi was born on May 26, 1965 in Wichita to her parents Herbert and Mary Jo Rea. Sandi worked in accounts payable at truck repair shops for many years.
Sandi is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jo Rea; and son, Stephen Joseph Warren. Sandi is survived by her father, Herbert Rea; daughters, Katie (Chris) and Sarah (Nebojsa); brother, Dwayne (Tonya); sister, Debbie (David); and grandchildren, Noah, Gabriela, Savannah, Eliza, and Scarlette.
Whether she was exploring new corners of the world, getting lost in the pages of a book, or enjoying a quiet afternoon with a cat curled up beside her, she found joy in both the vastness of the world and the comforts of home. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life for Sandi will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, July 17th at Countryside Christian Church in Wichita.

Sandra’s love for travel took her to colorful places—please dress accordingly. No need for black attire.
