Sandy Kay Jaynes Bernard, 79, of Crawford, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 23, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 26 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 pm, Friday, September 26 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Willie Perkins officiating.
Sandy leaves behind a legacy of love, that she passed down to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her family was her greatest treasure,
Her kind and generous spirit touched many during her lifetime. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, giving even when she didn’t have much to give. She was a second Mom to so many. A true servant of the Lord, serving until the very end.
Sandy enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting and antique shopping. She also loved cooking and baking for others. Her baked goodies were well known and enjoyed by family, friends, nursing home residents and co-workers through the years.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Lynn Jaynes, stepmother, Mary Eileen Jaynes, and a brother, Lyndon Lee Jaynes (Butch).
She leaves behind a daughter, Denise Davidson, husband Craig of Crawford, son, Dennis Lynn Huffman (Booger), of Hewitt, daughter, Becky Hernandez, husband Shorty of China Spring. Grandchildren, Dustin Huffman, wife Stephanie, Jesikah Huffman, Carly Bish, husband Brad, Addy Davidson, and Krissy Hernandez. Great-grandchildren, Quinn & Judd Huffman, and Jameson & Jackson Bish.
