Sandra Bolden Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra "Dianne" Waller Bolden, beautiful beloved wife, mother, granny, great granny, sister, aunt, and friend. Dianne left her earthly home to go to her forever Heavenly home on January 18, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones in her home in Jacksonville, NC.
Dianne was preceded in death by her late husband of 50 years, Robert Allen "Bobby" Bolden. She was born on April 8, 1948, in Reidsville, NC to the late James Waller and Reverend John & Helen Davis. She was also preceded in death by her siblings James Waller, Flora Ann "Bunny" Stewart, Butch Waller, & Johnny Davis.
Growing up, Dianne was active and raised in church and remained very strong in her faith. Dianne loved being a homemaker, traveling, being at the beach, spending time with her family, and her grandbabies. To know her was to love her, and to know her, you knew that she loved to cut up, have fun, dance, and "Kick off her Sunday Shoes".
She will be extremely missed by her daughters, Dawn Bolden Martin and husband Tommy and Debbie Bolden Dowell and husband Joe, and her son, Robbie Bolden, as well as her grandchildren, Krystle and special friend Angie, Megan and husband Cole, Samantha and husband Johnathan, Katie, Chelsey, Gage and wife Allie, Calvin, Jalen, Colbie, & Emily, along with her great grandbabies, Troy, Leland, Natalie, Kinsley, Emberleigh, John Luke, Isabella, Gatlin, Kayden, Genevieve, & Brayleigh, along with lots of other family and friends.
The family will be celebrating Dianne's life on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, with a brief visitation from 1:00 – 1:45 PM, with a ceremony to follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will have a private graveside service immediately following the ceremony at Evergreen Memory Gardens where her body will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. Friends and family can also visit with the family at her daughter Dawn's home at 205 McCoy Road.
The family would like to send their gratitude to numerous other family and friends for all of your prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. They would also like to send a very special thank you to Brandy and the staff with Hospice 3HC in Jacksonville.
