My dearest Sandy,
Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of your death. It has been so difficult to lose my best friend that I have travelled through life with for 47 years. I think of you often and will miss you for as long as I live, but I know in my heart we will see each other again one day.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Sandy' passing. The world has lost a wonderful person, I am so sorry for your loss. I know she touched many lives, through talking with her Wednesday nights it is clear that she really knew how to enjoy life, and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet her and learn this from her. In reading the online condolences I can see what an impact she really made on the world. Know that I would love to be of support in any way possible, and will keep you in my thoughts.

I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Sandy volunteered for many years in the Cooking for Kids program at our local school, and she was one of the most generous, kind, and caring individuals that I have known. Sandy took on new and ongoing challenges with a smile and determination that few can match. I will remember her friendly waves when passing in the neighbourhood, and the many proud stories of "her boys". My heart goes out to the three of you, and the rest of her family.

My son Jeremy and I are regular customers at the Tim Horton's at Oxford and Adelaide Street in London. Sandy was too. Every time our paths crossed she stopped by our table and had a brief and very kind conversation with us. Jeremy brightened when Sandy entered the store. We did not know about Sandy's passing until seeing a memorial card earlier this morning. We had been wondering where Sandy was. We are truly saddened by your loss but wanted you to know that she even touched the lives of strangers. Heartfelt sympathies. The Graces.

We've been friends for over 40 years. Sandy was a wonderful friend with a sunny personality. She had a great sense of humour and was so much fun to be around. She lived life to the fullest as a wonderful friend, daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mother. Big laugh, big love and big heart. I will miss my dear friend.

Sandy was always a bright spot in our lives growing up next door to all the Dawson kids. She has remained a true and loyal friend to Melanie for 46 years. We have all been blessed to have her in our lives. She will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Joe, Tyler and Zack, we are so very sorry for the sadness this week has brought you with the loss of Sandy. Our best memory of her is of last April when she came down to Mum's final service. She was so supportive, so full of the joy of life and so full of love. We are very sorry we can not be with you on Friday.
