Sandra Daniel Brooks

Sandra Daniel Brooks 72, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 at her home.  She was born May 21, 1951 in Richmond, Virginia to the late John Crawley Daniel and Bertha Rhue Roberts Daniel.  Sandra retired after 30 years of service from Philip Morris Tobacco Company. She was a member of the Petersburg Eagles Club 882 Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post 2 Ladies Auxiliary. Sandra loved to sing karaoke, dance, and watch the University of North Carolina Tar Heels Basketball games. She was a loving wife, mother, and especially loved being a grandmother.  She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Paul “Bubba” Brooks, two daughters Angie Reed, Wanda Ashworth, two sons Jaison Brooks and Joshua Brooks and wife, Allisa, three grandchildren, Eli, Elsie, Emilia, mother in-law Mary Brooks, sister, Carolyn LaPrade, brother Gerald Daniel, numerous nieces and nephews and her loving Shih Tzu Abby.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park S.
