Happy Heavenly birthday Sandy. I always remembered your birthday because it was my half birthday (January 8). Gone too soon but cherished memories keep you alive in our hearts and minds.

Gone but not forgotten. She was a special friend and I wish we got to see each other more throughout the years.

How can it be a year already. The "firsts" are always extra hard. Sandy and I would cruise around town, enjoy driving to Bayville beach and often visited the "jack in the box clown"at 2:00 am. This makes me smile because we had so much fun together. Sending extra hugs to you all today and always as you cherish fond memories of your mom, my friend.

Sandy was a beautiful, caring person. She was the most loving grandmother to Xander and Jayden. She would get down on the ground and play with them for hours. She actively engaged with the kids, read them stories, made puzzles, built legos, and played board games. She never complained of her chronic back pain. She always endured her difficulties with a smile. She had a laugh that could fill any room. She was my mom and I love her dearly. She was a caregiver, a great cook, and known for her delicious cold salads that she would make for all of our parties. They will never be the same without your coleslaw, macaroni and potato salad, Mom. I will think of you every spring, planting flowers and building beautiful gardens, something you loved doing. I will always be so grateful for you fighting for me when I was young and moving close to me when I was older. I love you mom and will miss you with all my heart.

Sandy was a childhood friend who I remember as always being gentle and kind. Memories of her were sleigh riding and ice skating on Norcott´s pond, and Cheerleading for Syosset Spartan´s and Southwoods Jr. High. My sincere condolences to all of her family members. May she rest in peace.

Sandy and I go way back to high school. She was a special friend and I´m sorry we didn´t get a chance to get together after reconnecting on social media. Sending condolences to the family during this challenging time. RIP my friend.
