Sandra Jill Buchheit

SANDRA JILL (MARPE) BUCHHEIT
Sandra Jill (Marpe) Buchheit, a kind and loving person, passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 84. Born in Canton, Ohio on September 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Grosenbaugh) Marpe, who preceded her in death.
She was a 1957 graduate of Lehman High School, attended Baldwin Wallace College, and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. She was a founding member of the Women to Women Breast Cancer Support Group, helping those with breast cancer, survivors, their families, and caregivers. Sandra has been a lifelong Canton/Massillon resident and retired from Mercy Hospital with 27 years of dedicated service.
Leaving a trail of beautiful memories are those who survive; sons, Scott (Christy) Buchheit and Stephen (Bette) Buchheit; brother, James (Mary Ellen) Marpe; and the many lives she touched with her support of those going through a life changing story.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM, North Lawn Cemetery, Canton.
