Sandra Eicholtz Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 2, 2025.
Sandra L. Eicholtz, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Select Specialty Long Term Acute Care Hospital within UPMC Memorial Hospital.

Born on August 16, 1951, Sandra was the daughter of the late Margaret Morris and Eugene Kuhn. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Kuhn, and her sister, Bobbie Diehl.

Sandra is survived by one son, Robert Eicholtz and fiance Alyssa Mummert of York; one daughter, Robin Bowlsbey of Dover; four grandchildren Alyssa Bowlsbey, Brayden Bowlsbey, Pierce Eicholtz, Dennis Eicholtz as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sandra graduated from West York High School in 1969. She dedicated many years to her work with Rutter's Farm Stores and retired from the United States Census Bureau after more than 20 years of service. Sandra was also a proud member of the Shiloh American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Sandra devoted her life to her family. She was not only a loving and supportive mother but also a source of strength, encouragement, and guidance for her children. Sandra's greatest joy in life was her family. She poured her heart into raising her children and, later, into being an extraordinary grandmother. As a grandmother, she was unmatched-her grandchildren were her world, and she made it her mission to fill their lives with love, laughter, and endless memories. Whether it was cheering them on at their activities, sharing stories, obtaining a beach vacation home or just simply being present, Sandra created a bond with them that will last forever. She would do anything for them, whether big or small, and made it her mission to ensure they always felt valued, cherished, and unconditionally loved. Her children and grandchildren will always carry her values, her humor, and her unwavering love in their hearts.

Sandra found happiness in life's simple pleasures-working on jigsaw puzzles, watching Hallmark movies, the beach, sharing meals at diners, snuggling with her puppy, and cherishing every moment with her family.

She will be remembered for her humor, her warmth, and her ability to make everyone feel loved and understood. Sandra was the centerpiece of her family's puzzle, and though she may be gone, her love and legacy remain. She will forever be remembered as our angel and our missing puzzle piece.
