Decatur, IL.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023, in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Decatur. Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Sandra was born May 16, 1947, in Macon County, IL the daughter of Robert C. and Rebecca (Danner) Merris. She retired from Mitsubishi Motor Company in Bloomington, IL and had formerly worked for Borg Warner Company in Decatur. She had volunteered for DMH Auxiliary. Sandra enjoyed camping, reading, crocheting, and collecting various items.
Surviving are her children: Becky Yoder (Jeff) of Mt. Zion and Scott File (Karyn) of Decatur; grandchildren: Dustin Yoder (Amber), Jessica Winters (Cory), Breanna Skirvin (Austin), Zoie Yoder, and Ella Yoder; great granddaughter: Harper Kay Yoder; sister: Mary Coleman of
Decatur, IL.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Charles Merris and her sister: Sally Todd.
