Sandra Gallo

Sandra C. Gallo (nee Hosgood), passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Born in Wiconisco, PA, daughter of the late Jean (nee Grubb) Hosgood, Sandra has been a longtime resident of Northeast Philadelphia and was a 1957 graduate of Lincoln High School.,.
She will be lovingly remembered as a hardworking and independent woman. Sandra dedicated her career working as a Payroll Specialist for nearly 60 years, spending over 20 of those years working for Pepper Hamilton Law Firm. Most recently she worked part time at The Mansion at Bella Tori, in Langhorne. Sandra truly enjoyed her work and being around others. She was a compassionate and selfless woman, who would do anything, for anyone.
Sandra loved traveling, especially cruising. She was proud to have been on over 25 cruises, seeing so many beautiful places and sights. She was also a longtime member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed sitting outside, watching a good thunderstorm. Her favorite pastime was sitting with a cup of ginger-peach tea, reading her books. She collected countless titles from her favorite authors over the years and would often trade titles with friends and neighbors.
Beloved wife of the late John Gallo, Sandra is the loving mother of Deana Gallo and Mark Gallo; cherished grandmother of Vinnie and the late Nickolas Gallo and dear sister of Judy Brock (late Bob), late Dennis 'Butch" Hosgood (late Pat), late Eileen Seldemridge (Jim), Late Marlene West (Lyle), Tracey Bolen (John) and Sue Bloom (Al). She will also be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 5 until 7 PM at the T.J. Fluehr Funeral Home, 11010 Knights Road, Philadelphia PA 19114, followed by her Memorial Service at 7 PM. Interment private.
